PRIVACY NOTICE
Bureau Nine Ltd is the data controller for information you send through this site.
What we collect. When you use the contact form we receive the name, organisation, email address, phone number and message you type, together with the date and time, your country and IP address (recorded by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to prevent abuse) and your browser type. We do not use cookies and we do not run third-party analytics or advertising.
Why. To reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to set up that relationship. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)); once we are in a contract with you it is the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
How long. Enquiries are kept for 12 months and then deleted, unless they become client records, which are kept for the length of the engagement plus six years for tax and legal reasons.
Who sees it. Only Bureau Nine Ltd. Messages pass through Cloudflare (hosting) and our email provider, both acting as processors under contract. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.
Your rights. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it, by emailing contact@bureaunine.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
